Desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria, en este trabajo se identifican los principales riesgos legales, sociales y ambientales de la actividad, con foco en el impacto reputacional, la conflictividad social y la seguridad jurídica de los proyectos. A su vez, se propone un modelo de compliance adaptado al contexto mendocino que combina buenas prácticas internacionales, gestión preventiva de riesgos, transparencia, participación ciudadana e indicadores de monitoreo para asegurar la mejora continua. El análisis concluye que la viabilidad de la minería en la provincia dependerá de la capacidad para equilibrar productividad, gobernanza hídrica y legitimidad social, consolidando un marco de desarrollo sostenible basado en cumplimiento normativo robusto, ética empresarial y gestión ambiental responsable.
